Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Pires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pires's entrance music is Tier - Rammstein. A fine choice. Savage is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Macho Man Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Augusto Pires!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Savage!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage dodges the punch combination from Pires.
Savage lands with a straight right. Pires didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Augusto Pires has been cut.
Pires misses with a series of wild punches.
Savage will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pires takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Pires swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Savage to counter with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Savage takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pires misses with a two punch combination.
Savage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pires avoids the head kick by Savage.
Pires rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Savage moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Savage fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pires throws a right hand that Savage ducks under and follows up with a left that Savage also avoids with ease.
Savage swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Pires counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheers as Pires lands an impressive looking overhand right. Savage doesn't seem phased though.
Pires takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pires staying out of range there.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Savage, right into the meat.
Savage scores with the left hand. Pires knows he should have avoided that one.
Pires is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Savage tries to bum rush Pires with a series of wild strikes but Pires uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Savage swings away with a body shot that misses
and Pires counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Savage scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Savage shoots for a double leg takedown but Pires sprawls well. He's pushed Savage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Savage changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pires looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Savage misses with the ground and pound.
Pires parries the strikes from Savage easily there. Savage is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pires to escape.
Pires is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Savage has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Pires knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savage on the ground.
Savage is putting a hurting on Pires here, landing some big shots from side control.
Savage working the ground and pound but Pires is defending the strikes.
Savage grinds an elbow into Pires's temple.
Savage is working to tighten is grip on Pires's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pires has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Savage is really squeezing tight and eventually Pires passes out! Savage breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
