Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Percy Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Batist Gugeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Percy Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jan Batist Gugeau! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gugeau lands with a straight right. Evans didn't see that one coming. Gugeau circles away from the clinch attempt and Gugeau counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Evans is trying to stand.
Gugeau wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gugeau decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Evans shoots and misses and Gugeau counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Evans misses with a takedown attempt and Gugeau counters with a nice body shot. Evans misses with a takedown and Gugeau counters with a one-two to the body. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gugeau closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Evans quickly recovers to half guard. Evans looks like he's trying to stand up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gugeau decides to stand up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! Jan Batist Gugeau comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gugeau has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
