Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bo Bowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rico Olivarez!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Olivarez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bowski is in Olivarez's guard.
Bowski trying to control but Olivarez is working from the bottom.
Olivarez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Olivarez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Olivarez looking for a guillotine here but Bowski defends easily.
Olivarez controls Bowski momentarily but Bowski frees himself.

Olivarez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Olivarez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bo Bowski.
Bowski tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Olivarez counters with a nice uppercut.
Bowski closes the distance looking to clinch
and Olivarez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bowski moves to clinch but Olivarez breaks away
and Olivarez counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Olivarez gets a takedown into half guard.
Olivarez trying to pass the guard but Bowski defending well.
Olivarez seems to be looking for submissions.
Olivarez wants to free his trapped foot but Bowski is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Olivarez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bowski wants to get back to full guard but Olivarez has passed into side control.

Olivarez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bowski has escaped the position, nice work there.
Olivarez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Olivarez is working to tighten is grip on Bowski's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bowski has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Olivarez is really squeezing tight and eventually Bowski passes out! Olivarez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
