Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatton comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the Name. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Hatton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Jones! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hatton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Hatton finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jones trying to control the position.
Hatton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hatton stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hatton misses with a head kick.
Hatton tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hatton counters by clinching up. Hatton is trying to stall.
Hatton breaks the clinch.
Hatton has his takedown stuffed and Jones counters with a takedown into side control. Hatton wants to get back to his feet but Jones is dominant here and he's now got Hatton's back!

Jones patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Hatton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones wants to control but Hatton is keeping busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hatton covers up after that shot from Jones.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hatton trying to control the action but Jones just sinks the hooks in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton covering up well and avoiding damage. Jones keeps control of the position easily here as Hatton tries to buck him off.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones misses with an elbow to the head. Jones working for a choke but Hatton is defending well. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jones throwing sloppy strikes. Jones struggling to keep hold of the position.
Jones throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jones trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Jones is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hatton is defending well though. Jones let's go of the attempt for now. A lull in the action here.
Jones throwing sloppy strikes. Jones really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hatton. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Jones dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hatton! Jones landing strikes from the mount and Hatton is in trouble! Hatton is trying to escape the mount.
Jones is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hatton trying to hold on to Jones's head to control him but Jones postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones stands up out of the half guard. Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Hatton circles away.
Hatton gets the takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hatton's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Jones wants to control but Hatton is keeping busy and won't allow it. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Ray Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Hatton wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. Hatton sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Ray Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hatton is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Hatton circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a series of strikes that have Hatton backpedaling.
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hatton defends it nicely. Hatton clinches with his opponent.
Hatton drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jones decides to pull guard. Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hatton wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jones.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones with good strikes from the mount here! Jones is working for a guillotine from mount but Hatton frees his head quite easily.
Jones misses with a head shot. Hatton taking shots to the head. Jones pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Jones controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Jones drives through with a takedown into guard. Jones wants to control from the top but Hatton keeps moving. Hatton has a closed guard, preventing Jones from standing up. Hatton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hatton looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jones has picked Hatton up and slammed him! Hatton can't keep hold of the triangle and Jones manages to pass to side control! Jones content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jones trying to control the action but Hatton is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ray Jones. Hatton gets a takedown into half guard. Jones pushes Hatton off and gets back to his feet. Hatton walks into a stiff left hand from Jones. Jones darts in and clinches Hatton up against the cage. Jones is trying to break the clinch but Hatton is controlling him. Jones looking for a takedown. Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hatton breaks the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Hatton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jones wants to work for an arm triangle but Hatton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jones slows the pace down in half guard. Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ray Jones was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jones has Hatton up against the cage in a clinch.
Jack Hatton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ray Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hatton goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.
And that's the end of the fight! Ray Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
