The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lidell throws a sloppy head kick
and Helmet counters with a stiff right hand.
Lidell throws a lazy head kick
and Helmet counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Helmet goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lidell throws a lazy head kick
and Helmet counters with a right hand to the body.
Lidell moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Helmet throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Lidell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Helmet counters with a nice leg kick.
Helmet scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Helmet connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lidell takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Chuck Lidell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Helmet lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lidell backwards.

Helmet will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lidell up against the ropes.

Helmet lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lidell backwards.
Helmet manages to break the clinch.
Helmet throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lidell takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Helmet lands a nice looking kick to the body. Lidell takes a step back to recover.
Helmet cracks the inside of Lidell's front leg.
Lidell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Helmet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Helmet scores with a head kick. Lidell tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Helmet feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lidell's calf.
Helmet lands a high kick!
Helmet lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Helmet throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lidell is rocked!
Helmet throws a powerful right kick. Lidell tried to block low but the kick was high! Lidell was taken right off of his feet! Helmet jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
