Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cojemi Helinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danilo Pires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danilo Pires will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cojemi Helinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helinski chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pires can pounce on him.
Pires closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Helinski is looking for a sweep.
Pires stands up and beckons Helinski to his feet.
Helinski could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pires shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Helinski's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pires scoring with some ground and pound.
Helinski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pires on the ground.
Pires lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pires passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Pires landing strikes.
Pires in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
You can see the frustration on Helinski's face as Pires controls the position.

Pires has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Pires scoring with strikes but Helinski is staying in there.

Helinski is breathing heavily.
Helinski is bucking up trying to escape but Pires cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Helinski is desperately trying to improve his position but Pires has a good base and remains in mount.
Pires is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pires landing strikes from the mount.
Helinski is rocked!
Pires is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Helinski goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Pires!
