Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Knees Clinch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pro Wrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Knees Clinch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pro Wrestler!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clinch tries to clinch
and Wrestler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like Knees Clinch has been cut.
Clinch fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Wrestler clinches with his opponent.
Clinch is trying to stall.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Wrestler.
Clinch with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Wrestler pulls guard.
Clinch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Wrestler throwing short punches from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wrestler can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wrestler controlling the position.
Wrestler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Wrestler has control of Clinch's left arm, preventing Clinch from doing any damage.

and Clinch counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Clinch.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wrestler holds on and takes a little breather.

Wrestler working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clinch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clinch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wrestler manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Wrestler shoots in for a double leg but Clinch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wrestler closes the distance but Clinch moves to the side

and Clinch counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wrestler manages to get back to half guard.
Wrestler tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Wrestler moves into full guard.

Wrestler pushes Clinch off and gets back to his feet.

Wrestler closes the distance and clinches.
Clinch keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wrestler's efforts to push away.

Wrestler jumps into guard, dragging Clinch to the mat.
Wrestler wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Wrestler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clinch manages to get himself to full guard.
Wrestler lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Wrestler controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Wrestler decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Wrestler shoots in for a double leg but Clinch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Wrestler clinches up with Clinch and pushes him back against the cage.
Wrestler taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Wrestler tries to land knees in the clinch but Clinch avoids the damage to the body.

Wrestler has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Clinch uses from the top position.

Wrestler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Clinch defends it easily.
Wrestler trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Wrestler manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wrestler sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
It looks like Wrestler might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wrestler is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Clinch to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Clinch shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Nice sprawl there from Clinch as Wrestler shoots in.
Wrestler throws a right and a left that Clinch avoids nicely.
Wrestler keeps the fight on the outside.
Wrestler moves in looking to clinch but Clinch pushes him off.
Wrestler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Clinch defends it nicely.
Wrestler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Clinch finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clinch stuffs the takedown.
Knees Clinch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pro Wrestler.

Wrestler pushes Clinch up against the cage in a clinch.
Clinch connects with a knee to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wrestler stalls.
Wrestler tries to break free but Clinch pushes him back against the cage.

Wrestler drops down looking for an ankle pick but Clinch pulls his leg out and moves away.
A punch combination from Wrestler misses.

Wrestler decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wrestler moves nicely into side control.

Wrestler thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Clinch takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Wrestler in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Wrestler controlling from side mount.
Clinch takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Clinch is trying to escape the position but Wrestler is controlling the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Wrestler advances nicely into full mount.
Clinch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wrestler on the ground.

Wrestler working the ground and pound effectively.
Wrestler controlling the position easily from mount.
Wrestler is landing with some decent strikes but Clinch is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Clinch defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Wrestler.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pro Wrestler has got the better of the ground game so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pro Wrestler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Wrestler forces Clinch back against the cage and clinches.
Clinch misses with a knee strike.
Clinch misses with a knee to the head.
Wrestler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Clinch walks away with a smile on his face. Wrestler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wrestler shoots in looking for a takedown but Clinch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wrestler's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The fighters circling - Wrestler throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wrestler.
Knees Clinch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pro Wrestler.
Wrestler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clinch circles away.

Wrestler darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wrestler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Clinch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Let's hope that Wrestler has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Pro Wrestler has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wrestler.

Wrestler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wrestler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Wrestler decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Wrestler moves into the clinch successfully.
Wrestler tries to break the clinch but Clinch is controlling the position.
Wrestler missing with knees to the body.

Wrestler pulls Clinch into guard.

Wrestler scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Wrestler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wrestler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Knees Clinch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Wrestler is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Clinch has managed to escape the submission attempt.
BOOM! Wrestler connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Clinch in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Wrestler unloading with bombs!
Clinch has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wrestler is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Clinch has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Wrestler has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Clinch taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Wrestler doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Pro Wrestler!
