The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Rycroft darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rycroft has a takedown stuffed.
A big left from Rycroft misses.
Masato stuffs the takedown.
Rycroft takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Cameron Rycroft has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rycroft takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Masato slips a jab and a cross from Rycroft.
Masato scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rycroft tries to clinch up but Masato circles away and keeps his distance.
Masato fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rycroft is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice takedown defense from Masato. No joy for Rycroft on that attempt.

Masato throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Rycroft tumbling to the canvas!
Rycroft is rocked!

Masato decides to stand up.
Rycroft misses with a few strikes there.
Crack! Masato connects with the perfect overhand right and Rycroft falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Masato!
