Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chilun Rassaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rassaaja's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, No Words/No Thoughts by The Swans. Karelin has chosen Russian National Anthem as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rassaaja throws a low kick, looking for Karelin's leg but Karelin calmly moves out of range.
Rassaaja shoots in for a takedown but Karelin shows good takedown defense.
Rassaaja clinches with his opponent.
Rassaaja has a couple of punches blocked by Karelin.
Rassaaja digs a right hand into Karelin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Karelin's gas tank.

Rassaaja takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rassaaja scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rassaaja stuns Karelin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rassaaja comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Karelin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rassaaja connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Karelin scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Alex Karelin has been cut.
Rassaaja lands a slapping body shot.
Rassaaja tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Karelin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rassaaja.
Karelin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rassaaja counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Chilun Rassaaja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Karelin.

Rassaaja swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rassaaja connects with a nice looking jab.
A jab lands there for Rassaaja.
Rassaaja feints a jab promting Karelin to slip. Rassaaja then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Karelin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Karelin walks into a stiff left hand from Rassaaja.
Rassaaja tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rassaaja tries to close the distance and clinch up but Karelin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Danga de danga de dang - Rassaaja scores with a four punch combination!
That has opened up Alex Karelin's cut even more.
Karelin is trying desperately to land a takedown but Rassaaja is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Karelin.
Karelin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rassaaja.
Rassaaja moves into range and connects with a jab.

Donk. Rassaaja catches Karelin right on the button with a cross.
Karelin misses with a left hand
and Rassaaja counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Karelin takes one to the side of the head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rassaaja darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rassaaja lands with a shot to the body.
Rassaaja moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Karelin misses with a takedown attempt
and Rassaaja counters with a one-two to the body.
Rassaaja is working the combinations to good effect here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rassaaja decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rassaaja thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Karelin's head.

Rassaaja is looking to stall here but Karelin recovers full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rassaaja trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Karelin manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Rassaaja has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Karelin won't allow Rassaaja to sweep him here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chilun Rassaaja dominated that round.

Rassaaja digs a good hook to Karelin's body.
Karelin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rassaaja but Rassaaja pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rassaaja tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Karelin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Karelin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

The cut above Alex Karelin's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Karelin is breathing heavily.
Nice body punch from Karelin.
Rassaaja throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Karelin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rassaaja moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Rassaaja counters with a right hand to the body.

Alex Karelin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Rassaaja is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Karelin can do to turn this around?

A nice leg kick lands there from Rassaaja.
Karelin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alex Karelin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
