Kalou throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Spice's head.
Kalou takes one to the side of the head.
Spice takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kalou really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kalou throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Spice throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Spice slips a jab and a cross from Kalou.
Kalou drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spice is looking for a triangle but Kalou pushes his legs off easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spice escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kalou gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Spice looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kalou will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kalou avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kalou drops back looking for a leg! Spice is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spice manages to kick Kalou off! Kalou jumps back into Spice's guard.

Kalou stands and throws Spice's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kalou thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
