The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Dam walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Van Dam tries to clinch
and Lawler counters with a left and a right that stings Van Dam.

and Van Dam counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lawler thinking.
Lawler lands with a nice combination. Van Dam backs away looking to recover.
Lawler cracks a nice hook into Van Dam's ribs.

Lawler tries to bum rush Van Dam with a series of wild strikes but Van Dam uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lawler drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Van Dam right on the button. Van Dam goes down! Lawler follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Lawler gets the win via TKO!
