Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daisuke Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura throws a right hand that misses

and Mousasi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mousasi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nakamura swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nakamura can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mousasi controls the pace.

Mousasi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nakamura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mousasi has managed to get both his arms back between Nakamura's legs - danger averted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nakamura had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mousasi defends it easily.

Nakamura is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mousasi defends well.

Nakamura is working an open guard so Mousasi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nakamura throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Mousasi dives in and scores a takedown into Nakamura's guard.
Mousasi tries to stand but Nakamura is controlling from the bottom.

Nakamura has his feet on Mousasi's thighs here. He's pushed Mousasi off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Mousasi screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
