The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a one two! Douglas had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Thor Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva thows a body kick. Douglas tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Douglas throws a leg kick that is checked
and Silva counters with a one-two to the body.
Silva paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Douglas takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses.

Silva fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Douglas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Thor Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Douglas counters with a three punch combo that has Silva backing up. Silva nods at Douglas to acknowledge the strikes.
