Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Daley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Douglas! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daley throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Douglas counters with a nice low kick that buckles Daley's knee momentarily. Douglas drops Daley with a right and a left! Douglas comes rushing in but Daley regains his composure and manages to keep Douglas in guard.
Douglas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Daley is looking to sweep but instead, Douglas has passed into half guard.
Douglas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Douglas prevents Daley from improving his position. Daley looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Douglas is thwarting Daley's attempts to control the position. Daley wants to get back to full guard. Douglas wants to pass the guard but Daley is defending well. Douglas prevents Daley from improving his position. Douglas controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
We're going to have a standup here because Paul Daley wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Douglas gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Douglas is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Douglas with a knee to the head.

Daley is rocked! Daley is breathing heavily. Douglas lands a knee to the head.
Oh Daley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Daley takes an elbow to the forehead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Douglas gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Douglas has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Daley - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Douglas, and another! Daley is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
