Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Sheffield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sheffield's choice of entrance music: New Model Army - Vagabonds. Brian Sheffield is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quinton Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Sheffield! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson feints a jab promting Sheffield to slip. Jackson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sheffield slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sheffield circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson slips a jab and a cross from Sheffield.
Jackson tries to clinch and Sheffield makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jackson really felt that one! Sheffield lands a glancing blow to the side of Jackson's head. Jackson throws a lazy right hand but Sheffield sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Quinton Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson misses with an uppercut
and Sheffield counters with a nice double leg into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Sheffield from controlling successfully. Jackson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sheffield postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sheffield can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sheffield trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sheffield is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

and Sheffield counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sheffield walks into a stiff left hand from Jackson. Sheffield misses with a kick to the body.

and Sheffield counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sheffield connects with a body shot that sends Jackson's belly button to the back. Jackson is breathing heavily. Sheffield walks into a stiff left hand from Jackson. Jackson misses with a body punch
and Sheffield counters with a nice body shot. Sheffield closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Sheffield has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jackson is proving hard to escape from. Sheffield trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sheffield stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jackson throws a series of punches but Sheffield avoids them all with ease. Jackson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sheffield throws a combination. Jackson tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Sheffield swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sheffield pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jackson back to the ropes. Sheffield follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Sheffield connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Jackson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sheffield counters with a right hand to the body. Jackson checks a leg kick nicely. Sheffield swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jackson throws a poor cross that misses
and Sheffield counters with a single leg into guard. Jackson didn't expect that. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Sheffield stands up over Jackson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sheffield trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sheffield decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sheffield moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. A momentary lapse in concentration from Jackson enables Sheffield to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jackson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sheffield can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sheffield sitting in guard here, content to control. Sheffield works over Jackson with some ground and pound from guard. Sheffield avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sheffield stands up from Jackson's guard - Sheffield perhaps looking for a knockout. Jackson throws a poor cross that misses
and Sheffield counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackson! Sheffield is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jackson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sheffield controlling the pace for now. You get the feeling that Jackson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Sheffield tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jackson is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Sheffield dominated that round. That's time! Jackson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sheffield throws a series of punches but Jackson moves out of range. Jackson is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sheffield throws a one two combo.

and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jackson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sheffield counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sheffield throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jackson on the side of the head. Jackson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Sheffield moves into the clinch. Sheffield breaks from the clinch.
Jackson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sheffield counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Sheffield bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jackson's head. Jackson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Jackson gets caught napping as Sheffield dives in and scores a takedown. Jackson manages to retain guard. Jackson is looking for a triangle but Sheffield pushes his legs off easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Sheffield prevents Jackson from improving his position. Sheffield has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sheffield looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Jackson looking for submissions off his back. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Sheffield circles away from the clinch attempt and Sheffield decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard. Sheffield decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jackson, up you get! Sheffield lands a jab-cross combination. Sheffield throws a shot to the body.

Jackson is trying to stand. Brian Sheffield is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson can't escape the position.
Quinton Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sheffield looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Brian Sheffield comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sheffield has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
