Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pistol Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Miguel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Pistol Robinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Miguel! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robinson shoots in for a takedown but Miguel shows good takedown defense. Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Miguel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. No luck for Robinson with that takedown attempt. Robinson misses with a takedown and Miguel counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pistol Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robinson cracks Miguel with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Miguel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Miguel wants to pass to mount but Robinson is defending the position. Miguel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Robinson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miguel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miguel's back! Miguel is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Robinson 's hooks. Robinson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Robinson controlling the position easily from mount.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Robinson looking to control but Miguel is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Miguel is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Miguel holds on to Robinson around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks. Miguel tries to hold on but Robinson pushes him away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Miguel manages to control the position for a moment.
 Sam Miguel has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Miguel lands with a hook. Robinson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Robinson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Miguel to the mat! Miguel manages to get full guard. Robinson slips nicely into half guard. Miguel is trying to control but can't.
Robinson gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Miguel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Robinson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Robinson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Robinson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Miguel's guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson stopping the sweep attempt from Miguel. Miguel throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Miguel moves to clinch but Robinson breaks away
and Robinson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Miguel's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Robinson stopping the sweep attempt from Miguel. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pistol Robinson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Miguel is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sam Miguel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miguel shoots for a takedown but Robinson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Robinson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Miguel tries to keep at a distance but Robinson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Miguel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Miguel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Robinson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Robinson thows a leg kick but Miguel checks it
and Miguel counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Robinson is looking to improve his position.
Miguel thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Robinson's head. Miguel works his foot free and advances to mount. Miguel working the ground and pound effectively.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Miguel punishing his opponent with strikes. Miguel lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Robinson is trying to escape the mount.
Miguel trying to control but Robinson is having none of it. Robinson taking shots to the head. Miguel lands a big shot there that rocks Robinson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Robinson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Robinson wants to improve his position but Miguel is controlling well.
Pistol Robinson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Robinson trying to hold on to Miguel's head to control him but Miguel postures up.
Robinson won't allow Miguel to pass to mount. Miguel is keen to just control but Robinson is a slippery customer. Miguel not doing much here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Robinson is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robinson wants to get up but he can't break Miguel's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Robinson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Miguel dives on top into guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Miguel works a leg free and moves into half guard. Miguel winds up and cracks Robinson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Robinson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Miguel is looking for a kimura here.
Still in half guard, Miguel seems content to control. Robinson has hold of Miguel's hands but Miguel slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Miguel lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Miguel lands strikes from half guard. Miguel thows a huge punch but Robinson dodges it nicely.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson wants to get back to full guard. Miguel seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Miguel is trying to control. Robinson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Miguel is thwarting Robinson's attempts to control the position.
Miguel escapes and gets back to his feet. Miguel tries to clinch up. Robinson wants to clinch
and Miguel moves into the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Miguel obliges. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Miguel stands up and beckons Robinson to join him on the feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Robinson takes a kick to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Miguel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Miguel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

and Robinson counters by moving into the clinch. Miguel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Robinson smiles and moves away.

Miguel works a leg free and moves into half guard. Robinson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miguel is working away from the top position though. Miguel trying to control the pace.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Miguel trying to control the action but Robinson is working from the bottom.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miguel tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Ground and pound from Miguel. Robinson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Miguel scoring with punches to the head and body.
Miguel gets to his feet. Robinson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Pistol Robinson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Robinson misses with a hook.

Miguel has managed to clinch.

Miguel gets control of Robinson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Miguel will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Robinson preventing the sweep. Miguel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Robinson looking to sit in guard and control but Miguel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Miguel advances to half guard. Miguel trying to control from Robinson's half guard. Robinson has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Miguel preventing the sweep.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Miguel scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Robinson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miguel is one step ahead there. Robinson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Robinson is working an open guard so Miguel takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Miguel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Robinson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Miguel stays in close to Robinson's body and controls the position. Robinson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Miguel controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Sam Miguel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Miguel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
