The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ernie.
Ernie looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ernie tries to buck Watson off but Watson is having none of it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to tom Watson.
Well Watson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
