Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aarre Voutilainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Ahriman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voutilainen comes into the arena with Chase Is Better Than The Catch blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voutilainen thuds a left hand into Ahriman's body.

Voutilainen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ahriman checks it well.
Voutilainen takes a swing at Ahriman's ribcage but misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ahriman shoots in looking for a takedown but Voutilainen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ahriman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Horrible takedown by Ahriman or perhaps it was just good defense by Voutilainen which made him look bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Ahriman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Ahriman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
