Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chase Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Zmyslony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chase Rollins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tomasz Zmyslony!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zmyslony darts in trying to clinch
and Zmyslony takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Zmyslony shoots in and drives through. Rollins sprawls well.
Zmyslony closes the distance and clinches up with Rollins, looking for a takedown. Zmyslony pushes Rollins against the cage but Rollins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zmyslony shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rollins but Rollins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chase Rollins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomasz Zmyslony.

Rollins has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Zmyslony.
Tomasz Zmyslony seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rollins shoots for a takedown but Zmyslony saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Zmyslony enables Rollins to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Zmyslony manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Zmyslony really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rollins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rollins keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zmyslony's head.
Rollins controls from within his opponent's guard.
Zmyslony can't keep his opponent in guard - Rollins advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rollins controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zmyslony trying to control from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Rollins seems content to control.
Zmyslony avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rollins.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chase Rollins.

and Rollins moves into the clinch.
Zmyslony looks gassed!
Zmyslony tries to pull guard but Rollins holds him up against the cage and eventually Zmyslony drops back down to his feet.
Zmyslony looking to stall.

Zmyslony has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Zmyslony fails to pull guard.
Zmyslony jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rollins walks away with a smile on his face. Zmyslony gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rollins with a lazy takedown attempt
and Zmyslony counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rollins thinking.

Rollins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Zmyslony holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Rollins tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Rollins looking to control and managing it successfully.
A nice elbow there by Rollins.
Zmyslony is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Zmyslony is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rollins locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Zmyslony is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chase Rollins!
