Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves out of range as Raines throws a body kick.

Tim Raines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Raines is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jones is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Raines to the mat. Raines regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raines can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Jones stops Raines from getting back to his feet.

Jones is controlling the pace.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Tom Jones just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Raines throws a sloppy head kick

and Jones counters with a single leg into guard. Raines didn't expect that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Raines as he jumps to the side.
Raines shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Raines throws a lazy uppercut
and Jones counters with a leg kick.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Raines.

Jones clinches up against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jones is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Jones lands an elbow inside that Raines shrugs off.
Raines misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jones.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Tom Jones.
Raines has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Raines there as he acknowledges the shot.

Jones clinches up with Raines and pushes him back against the cage.

Jones has picked Raines up - he's going for a ride! Jones dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones prevents Raines from improving his position.

Jones is trying for a kimura here. Raines looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Jones wins by kimura!
