The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ondrus closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morgan quickly recovers to half guard.
Morgan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ondrus is looking to advance position but Morgan won't allow it.
Morgan wants to get back to full guard but Ondrus has passed into side control.
Morgan struggling a bit here.
Ondrus lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
You can see the frustration on Morgan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Morgan is trying to improve his position.
Ondrus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ondrus is looking to take a break and control but Morgan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Morgan tries to buck Ondrus off but Ondrus is having none of it.

Morgan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Ondrus working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Ondrus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Morgan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ondrus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ondrus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ondrus decides to stand up, so the ref orders Morgan to his feet.

Morgan drives through and clinches with Ondrus against the cage.

Morgan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ondrus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Morgan looking to sit in guard and control but Ondrus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Morgan wants to sweep but no luck.
Ondrus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Ondrus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ondrus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Morgan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ondrus controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ondrus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morgan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ondrus tries to free his leg and advance position but Morgan is retaining full guard.
Ondrus trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Morgan rushes Ondrus and presses him up against the cage.
Morgan tries to score a body lock takedown but Ondrus shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Ondrus jumps guard and drags Morgan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ondrus is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Morgan rolls with it to try and escape but Ondrus cranks on the arm and Morgan is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
