The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sniper shoots for a takedown but Leary saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck for Sniper with that takedown attempt.
No joy there for Leary, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Leary misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Leary throws a series of punches but Sniper avoids them all with ease.
Leary connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Johnny Sniper has been cut.
Sniper avoids the body shot from Leary.
Leary throws a nice looking combination but Sniper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Leary displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sniper.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sniper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sniper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sniper drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Sniper as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Leary screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Sniper! Nice submission victory there!
