Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ellison Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rain The Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim comes to the cage accompanied by Know Your Enemy. Rain The Pain looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ellison Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rain The Pain! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches The Pain napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kim thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The Pain can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Pain defending against the ground and pound. Kim is looking to take a break and control but The Pain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Pain tries to bench press Kim off him but Kim keeps the position. Kim decides to stand back up. The Pain takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kim changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Pain looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kim really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The ground and pound from Kim seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The Pain is looking for a sweep. The Pain struggling a bit here. The Pain looks gassed! Kim controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Pain tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kim wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kim controlling the position from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim decides to stand back up. Kim closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. The Pain quickly recovers to half guard. Kim working over The Pain with some ground and pound. The Pain looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kim slows the pace down in half guard. Kim moves nicely into side control. Kim is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ellison Kim dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kim circles away from the clinch attempt and Kim counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for The Pain! Kim throws some wild stikes that The Pain manages to avoid easily.
Kim trying to control but The Pain is having none of it. Kim is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But The Pain has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from The Pain! Kim will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The Pain is breathing heavily. Kim wants to sweep here but The Pain controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Pain sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kim's guard. Kim is positioning himself well to prevent The Pain advancing to mount. Kim is trying to stand up here but The Pain is controlling him well. The Pain not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kim avoiding damage under a succession of punches from The Pain. The Pain is keen to just control but Kim is a slippery customer. Kim is controlling The Pain's trapped leg to prevent The Pain from advancing to side control. Kim looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The Pain prevents Kim from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kim is trying to maintain the position but The Pain is very close to passing his half guard. The Pain throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kim blocking the ground and pound attempt from The Pain. Kim is refusing to be controlled, as The Pain sits in half guard. Kim manages to escape and get back to his feet! The Pain tries to clinch up and Kim counters by clinching up. Kim scores with a knee to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim keeps the fight in the clinch, despite The Pain's efforts to push away. Kim has The Pain pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kim pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending The Pain tumbling to the mat - Kim dives into The Pain's guard. The Pain keeping full guard, as Kim tries to pass. Kim stands up from guard. Let's bang! Kim showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from The Pain.
Kim drives through and clinches with The Pain against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on The Pain's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kim gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kim is trying to control. The Pain wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The Pain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kim's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kim's back! The Pain controlling well, preventing Kim from escaping the position.
The Pain lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. The Pain avoiding Kim 's attempts to control his hands. Kim has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from The Pain. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ellison Kim dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
A right-left combo lands from The Pain. The Pain looks to clinch and Kim decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in The Pain's guard. The Pain tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kim controlling from the top position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The Pain is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kim is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Pain working a defensive guard here.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ellison Kim just wasn't active enough. Kim gets a takedown into half guard. Ellison Kim overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kim controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kim is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Kim is pressing down on The Pain's thigh, looking to free his foot. The Pain is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kim stands up from half guard. The Pain throws a lazy head kick and Kim counters with a head kick. That will keep The Pain thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Kim closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kim has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kim throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
And that's the end of the fight! Ellison Kim showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kim has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
