Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lars Gyrvish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Thastrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gyrvish kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Five Minutes Alone. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thastrom drops Gyrvish with a left right combo! Thastrom follows him down to the ground into side control.
Gyrvish is rocked!
It looks like Lars Gyrvish has been cut.
Gyrvish tries to bench press Thastrom off him but Thastrom keeps the position.
Oh Gyrvish is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gyrvish seems to have got his legs back now.
Thastrom working away.
Gyrvish tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thastrom wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gyrvish sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Thastrom throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Thastrom bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gyrvish's head.
A lazy left from Thastrom finds it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch lands to the side of Gyrvish 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Thastrom is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Gyrvish hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mike Thastrom!
