Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harris Crowse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriel Verrus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Harris Crowse has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harris Crowse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Uriel Verrus! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Verrus works Crowse's body with a nice hook. Crowse pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crowse looks to clinch so Verrus counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Verrus postures up.
Verrus wants to control from the top but Crowse keeps moving. Crowse is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Verrus slips nicely into half guard. Crowse is looking to improve his position.
Crowse keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Crowse wants to control but Verrus is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crowse punching from the bottom.
Crowse is trying to get back to full guard. Verrus wants to stand but Crowse has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Crowse is not content to let Verrus control the position. Verrus is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Crowse sees it coming and defends easily. Crowse has hold of Verrus's hands but Verrus slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Verrus is trying to control. Crowse wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Verrus looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Verrus working over Crowse with some ground and pound. Crowse looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Verrus looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Crowse is staying active underneath Verrus, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Crowse works his way to full guard. Good work. Verrus trying to control but Crowse is working from the bottom. Verrus is looking to work some ground and pound but Crowse has wrist control. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Crowse looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Verrus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Crowse lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Verrus! Crowse landing shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crowse moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Verrus has worked his arm free - good work by Verrus!
Crowse is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Verrus knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Verrus taking a bit of punishment here - Crowse scoring with strikes. Crowse is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Verrus has escaped the position, nice work there. Crowse looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crowse is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Verrus knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Crowse misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Crowse swings around for an armbar but Verrus sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Crowse's guard. Verrus trying to control the position from guard on top but Crowse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uriel Verrus dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Verrus scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Crowse gets back to half guard. Verrus controlling the pace. Verrus is looking for a kimura here.
Crowse keeping control of the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crowse slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crowse wants to sweep here but Verrus controlling him for the moment. Crowse has his foot on Verrus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Verrus works his way back into a safe position though. Crowse looking to control.
Crowse tries to land a sweep but no joy. Crowse tries to strike from the bottom.
Verrus advances position into side control! Verrus trying to control the position but Crowse is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Verrus tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Crowse is trying to control Verrus's posture but Verrus avoids it. Verrus content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Verrus misses with the ground and pound. Crowse struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Verrus is working to tighten is grip on Crowse's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Crowse has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Verrus is really squeezing tight and eventually Crowse passes out! Verrus breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
