Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Madden Averick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Serr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Averick might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Undead. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Madden Averick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Serr! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Averick tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Serr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Serr shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Serr tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Averick. Averick is pressing down on Serr's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Averick keeping moving, preventing Serr from controlling successfully. Serr has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Averick is proving hard to escape from. Serr drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Averick dives on top into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Averick throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Serr works some decent striking defense from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Averick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Serr trying to keep a closed guard but Averick is proving a slippery customer.
Averick scoring with punches to the head and body. Serr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Averick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Averick sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Serr's guard. Averick throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are battling for position here. Serr manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Averick trying to control the position from guard on top but Serr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Averick has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Serr has an active guard here but Averick has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Serr looks gassed! Averick wants to stand but Serr has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Serr is not content to let Averick control the position. Averick is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Serr is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Madden Averick!
