Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aoio Uwukiwe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Lidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lidas has chosen Ding dong song - Günther and the sunshine girls as his entrance music. Aoio Uwukiwe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Lidas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Uwukiwe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lidas moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Lidas takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lidas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Uwukiwe sprawls well. Uwukiwe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lidas gets slowly back to his feet.

Lidas feints and as Uwukiwe raises his hands in defense, Lidas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Uwukiwe throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Uwukiwe blocks a jab.
Lidas tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Uwukiwe counters with a big head kick but Lidas shrugs it off.

With the fighters up against the cage, Uwukiwe throws an elbow but misses.

That was a close round but I would say that Aoio Uwukiwe will probably get the nod.

Lidas shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Uwukiwe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lidas tries to move to mount but Uwukiwe blocks the move with his legs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Uwukiwe pushes Lidas away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lidas gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Martin Lidas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Uwukiwe throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lidas's head.

Lidas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lidas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Uwukiwe but Uwukiwe pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lidas gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Uwukiwe to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Lidas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Uwukiwe gets to his feet. Lidas looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

A nice inside leg kick there by Uwukiwe. That's going to slow Lidas down.
Uwukiwe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Uwukiwe lands with a kick to the temple. Lidas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lidas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Uwukiwe - the referee stops the clock and Lidas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Uwukiwe. Lidas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A head kick from Uwukiwe lands but Lidas takes it in his stride.
Uwukiwe shoots in for a takedown but Lidas shows good takedown defense.
Uwukiwe lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lidas will feel that in the morning.
Uwukiwe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Uwukiwe has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Lidas counters with a shoot takedown. Uwukiwe fights it but they end up in guard.

Uwukiwe makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Uwukiwe.
