Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marty Laguna!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laguna throws a series of punches but Alipio avoids them all with ease.
Laguna lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Richard Alipio has been cut.
Alipio tries for a takedown but Laguna circles away easily
and Laguna counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Laguna cracks a nice hook into Alipio's ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Laguna misses with a body shot.
A shot to the liver by Laguna. Beautiful body shot.
Alipio fails with the takedown.
Laguna dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Alipio. That did some damage!
Alipio has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Alipio there as he acknowledges the shot.
Alipio shoots and misses
letting Laguna counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Alipio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alipio is breathing heavily.

Laguna throws a body punch but Alipio moves out of range.
Laguna cracks Alipio with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Laguna dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Marty Laguna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Laguna connects with a looping right hand.
Richard Alipio's cut is getting worse.
Alipio walks into a stiff left hand from Laguna.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Laguna misses with a jab, cross combination.
Alipio shoots for a double leg takedown but Laguna sprawls well. He's pushed Alipio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Laguna tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alipio was well out of range. Poor timing from Laguna.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Alipio. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Laguna bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Laguna misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alipio.
Laguna scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Laguna lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Alipio takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Richard Alipio's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Alipio shoots in for a double leg but Laguna sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Laguna is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Alipio had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Laguna swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Laguna lands a nice hook to Alipio's body. Alipio takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alipio stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Laguna.

Laguna fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Laguna lands with a good body shot.
Oooooh!!! Laguna has knocked Alipio down with a huge combo! Laguna steps away and waves a wobbly Alipio back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Alipio is rocked!
Jeez, Richard Alipio's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Richard Alipio's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
