The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Pacquiao counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A bone on bone clash there as Carter blocks the leg kick.
Pacquiao scores with a nice right hand.

Pacquiao gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Pacquiao digs a right hand underneath Carter's ribcage. Carter let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Carter's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carter on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Carter jumps guard but Pacquiao stands there with Carter around his waist. Carter gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pacquiao throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Pacquiao lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Carter backwards.

Carter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pacquiao smiles and moves away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Pacquiao.
Carter is breathing heavily.

Pacquiao pushes Carter up against the cage in a clinch.
Pacquiao lands an elbow that stopped Carter in his tracks for a moment.

Pacquiao breaks from the clinch.
A shot to the body from Carter misses

and Pacquiao counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Pacquiao lands a left hand that snaps the head of Carter backwards.
Pacquiao lands a hook that snaps the head of Carter backwards.

Pacquiao manages to break the clinch.
Pacquiao lands a nice shot that snaps Carter's head back.
Carter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pacquiao counters with a left to the body.

Pacquiao lands a big uppercut and Carter crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Carter looks OK. Pacquiao waves Carter back to his feet!

Carter is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pacquiao throws an uppercut from hell that sends Carter clean off his feet! He's out cold! Pacquiao stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
