The crowd seem to be enjoying Baculpo's choice of entrance music: Mosh. Kavon Lovve has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baculpo has his takedown stuffed
and Lovve cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Baculpo gets caught flat footed, as Lovve shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Lovve trying to control the position from guard on top but Baculpo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lovve wants to pass the guard but Baculpo is keeping the position.

Lovve drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Baculpo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lovve has Baculpo in his guard.
Baculpo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lovve dives on top into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lovve wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Baculpo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lovve dives on top into guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lovve wants to control from the top but Baculpo keeps moving.
Lovve wants to pass the guard but Baculpo is keeping the position.

Lovve is looking to control Baculpo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lovve avoid being mounted?
Baculpo is working for a kimura but Lovve is defending it quite comfortably.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Baculpo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Baculpo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lovve defends it well.

Lovve is trying to maintain the position but Baculpo is very close to passing his half guard.
Lovve is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Baculpo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Baculpo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lovve has managed to free his arm - good work.
Lovve is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rocky Baculpo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Lovve's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Baculpo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lovve counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lovve.

Baculpo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lovve looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lovve looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lovve!
Lovve looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Lovve swings around for an armbar but Baculpo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lovve's guard.
Lovve tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Baculpo drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Baculpo as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lovve screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Baculpo! Nice submission victory there!
