Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Paterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paterson has chosen Guerilla Radio by Rage Against The Machine as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schultz swings widly with a right hand
and Paterson counters with a single leg into guard. Schultz didn't expect that.
Paterson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Paterson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Schultz throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paterson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Schultz is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Paterson yanks on the arm and Schultz is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Paterson.
