Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bax Baczikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mace Heroic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Mace Heroic enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heroic fails with a takedown attempt.
Heroic throws a leg kick

and Baczikov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Baczikov.
Heroic wants to sweep here but Baczikov controlling him for the moment.
Heroic has his hands on Baczikov's head, controlling the position.
Heroic doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Heroic pulls Baczikov in close to his closed guard and prevents Baczikov from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Mace Heroic has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Heroic misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Heroic just misses with a punch to the body.

Heroic moves into the clinch.
Heroic gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Baczikov.
Heroic can't break the clinch.

Mace Heroic dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Heroic closes the distance and pushes Baczikov back into the cage.
Baczikov is working for takedown but Heroic is calmly controlling the position for now.

Baczikov misses with a short punch on the inside.
Heroic swings wildly with an uppercut but Baczikov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Baczikov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Heroic is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Baczikov to the mat. Baczikov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Heroic controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mace Heroic.

Heroic clinches.

Heroic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Heroic gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Heroic has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Baczikov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Baczikov avoids a wild elbow strike from Heroic.

Heroic gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Baczikov regains guard.
Heroic scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Heroic gets to his feet. Baczikov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mace Heroic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heroic attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Heroic shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Baczikov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Heroic is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Baczikov's shoulder. That is not cool.

Heroic has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Mace Heroic has got the better of the ground game so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Baczikov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Heroic on the ground.

Heroic gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Heroic closes the distance and clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mace Heroic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Heroic closes the distance and clinches up with Baczikov, looking for a takedown. Heroic pushes Baczikov against the cage but Baczikov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Heroic is defended easily by Baczikov.

Heroic shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Baczikov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Heroic gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Heroic stuffs the takedown.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Heroic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Heroic bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Heroic happy to just control the position for now.

Heroic stands up.
Heroic tries to land a front kick but Baczikov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Baczikov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Heroic throws a sloppy body shot

and Baczikov moves into the clinch.

Heroic tries to break the clinch but Baczikov is controlling the position.

Heroic manages to pull guard.
Heroic striking off his back but it's not causing Baczikov any problems.

Heroic's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Bax Baczikov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
