Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Boris Brejcha - Openminded. Smith has chosen In The Morning as his entrance music. Michael Smith told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Gracie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Smith quickly recovers to half guard.
Gracie is nestled in close to Smith, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd cheers as Smith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gracie doesn't seem phased though.

Smith ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gracie walks into a straight right hand from Smith.

Nice uppercut lands for Smith. That snapped Gracie's head back.

Smith darts in and clinches Gracie up against the cage.

Gracie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Smith pushes Gracie back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Gracie prevents a body shot from Smith.
Smith scores with a shoulder strike.

Smith throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Gracie blocking some punches.
Smith just leaning against Gracie, taking a breather.
Smith tries a body shot but Gracie blocks it.
Smith lands a hook that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.
Smith cracks Gracie with a nice body shot.
Smith tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

A head punch on the inside from Smith fails to land.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Smith tries a body shot but Gracie blocks it.
Smith digs a right hand underneath Gracie's ribcage. Gracie let out a lung full of air as it connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Smith dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Smith cracks Gracie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gracie on the side of the head.
Smith throws a monster overhand right that drops Gracie! Smith follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
