The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cyfrowy tries to clinch
and Lopez counters with a stiff right hand.
Sloppy strikes from Lopez. Those never looked like landing.
Cyfrowy throws a wild body kick that Lopez sees coming a mile off.
Cyfrowy throws out a leg kick but Lopez moves out of range and Cyfrowy only half commits.
Cyfrowy throws a right hand that Lopez ducks under and follows up with a left that Lopez also avoids with ease.
Lopez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lopez tries a head kick but it misses.

Lopez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Cyfrowy wants to sweep but no luck.

Lopez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Let's hope that Lopez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Paulo Lopez wasn't active enough on the ground.
Cyfrowy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Lopez.
Lopez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lopez keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Lopez stops Cyfrowy from getting back to his feet.
Cyfrowy is breathing heavily.

Cyfrowy is looking for a sweep. Lopez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lopez works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cyfrowy is looking to improve his position but Lopez isn't that keen on the idea.
Cyfrowy is bucking up trying to escape but Lopez cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Lopez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lopez is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cyfrowy is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cyfrowy flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Lopez anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cyfrowy and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Lopez slips an arm under Cyfrowy chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lopez has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lopez is squeezing on Cyfrowy like an anaconda would it's prey. Cyfrowy fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
