Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miksu Rupunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdi Muhammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rupunen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. Abdi Muhammed will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rupunen throws a series of punches but Muhammed avoids them all with ease.
Rupunen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice sprawl there from Muhammed as Rupunen shoots in.
Rupunen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Muhammed manages to avoid it.
Rupunen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Muhammed's waist but Muhammed gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rupunen off to one side.

Muhammed lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rupunen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Muhammed to the ground. Rupunen is now in Muhammed's guard.
Muhammed wants to stand and escape but Rupunen is having none of it.

Rupunen is pushing down on Muhammed's leg trying to pass to half guard. Muhammed is fighting to maintain full guard but Rupunen has managed to sneak the leg through.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Muhammed can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rupunen drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Rupunen seems to have locked his on tight now - Muhammed screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Rupunen, as he picks up the win!
