The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Christensen falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Persson to counter with a crisp jab.
Persson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Persson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Persson moves out of range of the strikes.
Christensen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Persson is out of range and Christensen settles back down.
Persson misses with a looping left.
Persson lands a big right hand that sends Christensen crashing to the mat! Persson stays standing though and waves Christensen back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Persson moves into the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Persson stands up and waves to Christensen to follow him.
Christensen throws a poor cross that misses
and Persson counters with a huge left! Christensen is in big trouble! He's backing up but Persson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Christensen from any more damage. A dominating finish by Persson!
