Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac-When We Ride. Charlie Liddell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell lands a really nice looking cross but Shaw seems unphased.
Sloppy strikes from Shaw. Those never looked like landing.
Charlie Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Liddell takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Charlie Liddell has been cut.
Shaw smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Shaw moves out of range as Liddell throws a body kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Liddell.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Liddell slips a jab from Shaw.
Shaw misses with a straight left.
Good leg kick by Liddell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Shaw tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Shaw looks gassed!
The fighters circling - Liddell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Liddell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Liddell tries to work over Shaw's front leg with a kick but Shaw checks it.

Donk. Liddell catches Shaw right on the button with a cross.
Liddell connects with the punch.
Shaw is rocked!
Shaw just misses with a punch to the body.
Shaw loads up on a big right hand but Liddell slips the punch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Liddell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Liddell moves out of range as Shaw strikes.
Liddell just misses with a punch to the body.
Shaw closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Liddell attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sloppy strikes from Liddell. Those never looked like landing.
Liddell connects with a jab.
Liddell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Liddell throws a leg kick which misses Shaw's front leg but catches the back leg as Shaw tries to avoid it.
Liddell ducks under a wild hook from Shaw.
Liddell lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Shaw can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Liddell and Shaw drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Liddell.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Liddell!
