Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rory Kincade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kincade punishes Silver's body with a nice straight punch.
Silver with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kincade counters with a nice low kick that buckles Silver's knee momentarily.
Good leg kick by Kincade there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kincade throws a wild body kick that Silver sees coming a mile off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silver stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kincade.

Kincade throws a chopping leg kick but Silver manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kincade throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kincade walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Silver checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kincade will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Kincade throws out a leg kick but Silver moves out of range and Kincade only half commits.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kincade tries to clinch but Silver moves out of range.
Silver swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kincade counters with a thumping low kick.

Kincade gets caught flat footed, as Silver shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kincade is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kincade is trying to control the position but Silver postures up.
Silver throws and elbow that misses. Kincade uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Silver's guard. Nice move by Kincade!
Silver has a closed guard, preventing Kincade from standing up.
Kincade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silver on the ground.

Silver has his foot on Kincade's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kincade works his way back into a safe position though.
Silver throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Silver escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kincade gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kincade has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Kincade won't allow Silver to sweep him here.

Kincade would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Silver had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kincade defends it easily.

Silver is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kincade is aware though and is defending well.
Silver bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kincade's guard.

Silver drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kincade manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silver has Kincade in his guard.
Silver is breathing heavily.

Silver is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kincade is aware though and is defending well.
Kincade is looking to stand up but Silver won't let him.

Kincade gets to his feet - Silver follows without any prompting.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Silver uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kincade.
Kincade throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

and Kincade counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silver thinking.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kincade misses with a hook to the body

and Silver counters with a single leg into guard. Kincade didn't expect that.

Silver drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kincade dives on top into guard.
Kincade wants to get up but he can't break Silver's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Silver throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kincade uses it to pass to side control.

Kincade decides to stand back up.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kincade.

Kincade works Silver's body with a nice hook.
Kincade throws a low kick but Silver avoids it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kincade dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Silver. That did some damage!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kincade wants to slow Silver down by chopping away at his legs.
