Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Hawke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tentacool Tentacruel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tentacruel's choice of entrance music: Septopus. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tentacruel throws a shot from downtown. Hawke moves away and avoids it.
Tentacruel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tentacruel thows a body shot but no joy.
Tentacruel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tentacruel tests Hawke's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hawke crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tentacruel - the referee stops the clock and Hawke gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tentacruel. Hawke manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Hawke makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tentacruel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hawke avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tentacool Tentacruel hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Well Tentacruel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
