Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Assange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Aerials-System of a down. Assange comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eddie Van Halen - Eruption kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Machida shoots in but no luck this time.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Machida. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Machida moves forwards but Assange connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Machida with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Assange to score with a decent uppercut.

James Assange is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Machida looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Assange has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Assange gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Machida jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Assange walks away with a smile on his face. Machida gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Machida takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Assange throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Machida stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Machida closes the distance and clinches up with Assange, looking for a takedown. Machida pushes Assange against the cage but Assange circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Machida shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Assange sprawls well. Assange wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Machida gets slowly back to his feet.

Well Assange has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
