Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stephen Quadros!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quadros doesn't manage to clinch there - Fighter circles away.
Quadros throws a nice outside leg kick.
Quadros throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Quadros misses with a kick to the body.
Quadros throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Quadros moves to clinch but Fighter breaks away

and Fighter counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fighter throwing strikes but missing.
Quadros is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fighter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fighter scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fighter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Fighter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Quadros has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quadros keeps working.
The ground and pound from Fighter seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Quadros's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Quadros is looking to reverse the position.
Quadros is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fighter is controlling him well.
Quadros tries to buck Fighter off but Fighter is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quadros tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Fighter presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Fighter putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Fighter lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Quadros tries to hold on but Fighter pushes him away.
Fighter controlling from the full mount.
Quadros is trying desperately to improve position.
Fighter lands with some strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Quadros can't escape the position.
Quadros is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Quadros is bucking up trying to escape but Fighter cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Quadros working to try and regain half guard.
Fighter with shots to the head and body - Quadros looks very uncomfortable down there.
Fighter lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Fighter lands a big elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fighter softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Quadros is out cold! Fighter jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Fighter!
