Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes to the cage accompanied by Will Smith vs Washed out - Summertime. Dan Walker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gerald Fitch! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitch misses with a combination
letting Walker counter with a right hand. Walker throws a poor cross that misses
and Fitch counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Fitch throws a lazy uppercut
and Walker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fitch misses with a jab to the body
and Walker counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fitch ducks under a wild hook from Walker. Fitch misses with a few strikes there.
Fitch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Walker throws out the jab. Fitch throws a left and a right that both miss
and Walker counters with a nice uppercut. Fitch takes a swing at Walker's ribcage but misses. Walker lands with an uppercut that bounces Fitch off the cage and back into rage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitch keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Walker. Walker throws a hook but Fitch blocks it. Walker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fitch misses with a jab to the body
and Walker counters with a nice uppercut. Walker tries to sprawl but Fitch drives through with a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fitch pulls his head out easily. That's two minutes gone in the round. Fitch trying to mount his opponent but Walker defends it. Walker pushes Fitch off looking to stand but Fitch dives back in and keeps control.
Walker is looking for a sweep. Fitch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Walker actively working from the bottom here. Walker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Walker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fitch defends well. Walker has his foot on Fitch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fitch works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitch gets to his feet - Walker follows without any prompting. Fitch takes a body punch but keeps moving. Walker is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Walker clobbers Fitch with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Fitch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Walker landing small, sideways elbows. Fitch trying to control the action but Walker is working from the bottom. Walker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fitch pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker tries to roll over but Fitch keeps him under control. Walker gets back to full guard.

A close round but Gerald Fitch will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Walker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Walker lands a glancing blow to the side of Fitch's head. Walker cracks Fitch with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Walker moves out of range of the strikes. Fitch misses with a shot to the body letting Walker counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big right from Walker misses. Walker misses with a looping right. Walker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fitch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fitch takes a swing at Walker's ribcage but misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Fitch. Walker does a little dance to reset his feet. Fitch is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Walker rather than just go for the knockout. Walker swings away with a body shot that misses
and Fitch counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Dan Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Walker scores with a sloppy right hand. Fitch should have avoided that one. Walker is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Fitch comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Gerald Fitch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fitch uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Walker. A big left from Fitch misses. Good shot there by Walker. Walker misses with an uppercut
and Fitch counters with a takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker tries to bench press Fitch off him but Fitch keeps the position. Fitch slows the pace down. Walker is pushing Fitch's head away, looking to escape. Fitch manages to hold on to the position though. Walker manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walker passes to side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fitch can do anything to dispel that myth. Walker is trying to get an arm triangle but Fitch is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitch takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Gerald Fitch has got the better of the ground game so far. You can see the frustration on Fitch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Walker stands up. Nice shot lands for Walker. Fitch misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Walker counters with a right hand to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fitch keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Walker. Fitch throws a right and a left that Walker avoids nicely. Gerald Fitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fitch moves forwards but Walker connects with a nice, crisp jab. Fitch loads up on a big right hand but Walker slips the punch. Walker looks to land a right hand but Fitch moved out of range. Walker lands a glancing blow to the side of Fitch's head. Fitch throws a left and a right that both miss
and Walker counters with a lovely straight right hand! A shot to the body from Fitch misses and Walker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fight stays on the outside here - Fitch looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice shot lands for Walker. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Gerald Fitch will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

and Fitch holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fitch has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Walker fails to pull guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fitch prevents Walker from standing back up.
Walker is pressing down on Fitch's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Walker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fitch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Walker is tightening it up a little... Fitch has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Fitch reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Fitch taps out! nice BJJ there by Walker!
