The fight stays on the outside here - Thompson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Natsuki wants to take a breather but Thompson manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Natsuki.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Natsuki is pushing down on Thompson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Thompson is fighting to maintain full guard but Natsuki has managed to sneak the leg through.

Natsuki is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thompson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Natsuki throwing strikes here but Thompson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Natsuki is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Thompson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Natsuki is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Thompson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Thompson!

Thompson wants to stand and escape but instead Natsuki has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Thompson parries the strikes from Natsuki easily there. Natsuki is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Thompson to escape.
Natsuki has hold of Thompson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Thompson seems comfortable defending it but Natsuki has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Thompson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Thompson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Natsuki couldn't care less - he's delighted!
