Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akseli Suokuokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geter Done (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suokuokka comes to the cage accompanied by The Animals - House of the Rising Sun. Geter Done is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Done tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Suokuokka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Done looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Done throws a combination that misses
and Suokuokka counters with a stiff right hand.
Done closes the distance looking to clinch
and Suokuokka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Suokuokka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Done swivels and escapes.
Done shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Suokuokka as he jumps to the side.
Done misses with a combination
and Suokuokka holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Done wants to break free but Suokuokka has control.
Suokuokka lands a body shot in the clinch.
Suokuokka breaks from the clinch.
Done fails with the takedown
and Suokuokka counters with a crisp right hand that drops Done! Suokuokka lets Done back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Done is rocked!
It looks like Geter Done has been cut.
Done looks gassed!

Done tries to keep at a distance but Suokuokka has taken the fight into the clinch.
Done is trying to break free.
Suokuokka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Suokuokka instigates a clinch.
Suokuokka displaying some good clinch control by pressing Done up against the cage.
Done is fighting off a takedown attempt but Suokuokka is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Done to the mat. Done regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Done has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Suokuokka off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Suokuokka jabs Done to the body, keeping him at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Suokuokka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Suokuokka stands and throws Done's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Suokuokka stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Suokuokka gets a takedown into half guard.
Suokuokka stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Done tries to close the distance and clinch but Suokuokka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Suokuokka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Done looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Done misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Suokuokka counters with a left to the body.
Suokuokka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Done manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suokuokka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Suokuokka stands and steps away. Done gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Suokuokka lands a slapping body shot.
Suokuokka circles away from the clinch attempt
and Suokuokka counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Suokuokka scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Done closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Suokuokka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Done.
Suokuokka is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Done swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Suokuokka counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Done is still in real trouble! Can Suokuokka finish him?
Suokuokka decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Done seems to have recovered his senses.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Done enables Suokuokka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Done manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Suokuokka has gone for a leg lock! Done slips out almost immediately though and dives into Suokuokka's guard.

Done throws a right and a left that Suokuokka avoids nicely.
Done throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Suokuokka sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Done throws the left hand but Suokuokka avoids the punch easily.

and Suokuokka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Done tries to bum rush Suokuokka with a series of wild strikes but Suokuokka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Suokuokka has Done pressed against the cage, preventing Done from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Suokuokka shoots in looking for a takedown but Done manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Suokuokka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Done rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Suokuokka moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Done gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Suokuokka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Done stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters up against the cage, Done throws an elbow but misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Done has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Suokuokka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Done looking for a guillotine here but Suokuokka defends easily.
Geter Done has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Done is looking for a triangle here but Suokuokka uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Well Suokuokka has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
