The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Thompson counters with a two punch combo.
Thompson works over Santos's head and body with a nice combination.
Santos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Santos shoots in but Thompson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Thompson is looking to improve his position but Santos isn't that keen on the idea.
