Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kay lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Potter has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Potter and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Potter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kay rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Potter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kay fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Potter, pushing him back against the cage.
Kay lands a shoulder strike.
Kay lands a right hand that snaps the head of Potter backwards.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kay as Potter tries to tie him up.
Kay pushes Potter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Potter tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kay just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kay's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Potter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kay has managed to get both his arms back between Potter's legs - danger averted.

Potter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kay sprawls well. Kay wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Potter gets slowly back to his feet.

Kay lands a left and a right that send Potter crashing to the mat, dazed. Kay thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kay sends Potter crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kay is motioning to the referee to let Potter up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kay looks to land a right hand but Potter moved out of range.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kay lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Kay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kay cracks Potter with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kay has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Potter to stand back up!

Potter tries to keep at a distance but Kay has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ross Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kay.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Potter drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Kay lands with a hook. Potter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
BOOM! Kay lands a beautiful left hook that drops Potter. Potter tries to recover but Kay is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Potter lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
