Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kosey Okafor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Tennant!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Okafor. That snapped Tennant's head back.
Okafor misses with a leg kick

and Tennant counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Tennant tries to score a body lock takedown but Okafor shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Tennant lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


It looks like Kosey Okafor has been cut.
Tennant crunches a lovely knee into Okafor's ribcage.

Tennant drags the fight down to the ground.
Tennant not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tennant wants to sweep here but Okafor controlling him for the moment.

Tennant had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Okafor defends it easily.

Tennant is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Okafor defends well.
Tennant looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Okafor trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tennant's guard.
Okafor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tennant on the ground.

Tennant has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Okafor is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tennant.
You can see the frustration on Tennant's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tennant is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Okafor asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Tennant tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Okafor tries to stand but Tennant is controlling his head.
Tennant can't do much from the bottom here.
Tennant manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Tennant in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Okafor tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Tennant!
