Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gracie Rabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Rabi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vargas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rabi is in Vargas's guard.
Vargas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rabi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vargas - the referee stops the clock and Rabi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vargas. Rabi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie Rabi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Rabi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
