Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alter Helmet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helmet tries to score with a low kick but Diaz moves his leg out of the way.
Helmet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Helmet gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Diaz to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Diaz showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Diaz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Diaz is working Helmet over with some ground and pound from side control.
Helmet looks gassed!
Diaz works to advance to full mount. Helmet defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Diaz content just to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Helmet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diaz is landing with some decent strikes but Helmet is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Diaz swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
