Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erik Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Karaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Devour - Shinedown. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Erik Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruslan Karaev!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karaev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away.
Williams takes one to the side of the head.
Karaev looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Williams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Karaev to score with a decent uppercut.
Karaev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Karaev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams.
A bone on bone clash there as Karaev blocks the leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Karaev does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Williams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Williams holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Williams is trying to push Karaev away but Karaev has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Williams tries to throw a body punch but Karaev avoids it by throwing Williams back against the cage.
Karaev has had enough of the clinch but Williams keeps him there for the moment.
Williams keeps control of Karaev as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Karaev has Williams pressed against the cage, preventing Williams from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Karaev is trying to force a seperation but Williams has the dominant position.
Williams lands a body shot.

Karaev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Karaev lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Karaev misses with a double jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Karaev, as that shot connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Williams makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Karaev counters with a stiff right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Karaev throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Good standup being displayed there by Karaev as he connects with a hook.

Karaev tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Karaev lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Karaev sizes up Williams with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Williams misses with an uppercut. Karaev saw that one coming.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Karaev lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Williams looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Karaev throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Karaev lands with an uppercut that bounces Williams off the cage and back into rage.
Williams throws a wild hook but Karaev just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Williams gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Karaev raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ruslan Karaev!
